About the Role
We are looking for a Chief Architect who can design advanced distributed, scalable, resilient systems from the ground up. You should have a strong background in coding in multiple languages and a history of designing advanced systems. Experience in machine learning is a massive plus as our systems will need to scale labeling, training and inference at unprecedented scales.
Responsibilities:
Manage a cross-functional product team in creation of SaaS applications
Design clear and comprehensive roadmaps that are architecturally sound and realistic given the time constraints
Develops long-term strategies and roadmaps in all architecture disciplines
Design MVPs and Structure POCs to help teams meet milestones
Qualifications:
8+ years working on API and platform development
Provide insight and manage all technology related aspects with presentations and communications at senior management and CxO level.
Skilled at working with major public clouds and with leveraging a wide range of cloud services
Help the engineering team with the optimization of certain systems
Strong history of programming in a number of languages
Strong understanding of designing and implementing high performing and highly available systems that meet stringent SLA requirements
Understanding across a wide variety of technologies from IT, networking, DBs, storage systems, APIs, web services and more
Strong understand of object storage, databases and networking
Machine learning experience a major plus
High performance compute experience a major plus
